THE DETEK TEAM:

 

Isaac Ukeju, President, CEO

Mr. Ukeju brings with him extensive experience in Computer networking, Unix, Cisco, software engineering, and integration of diverse systems.  Mr. Ukeju began in the IT industry as an assembler programmer with EDS before he joined Mr. Adetomiwa to form what is known today as Detek Computers, Inc in 1993. Before becoming a director, he worked in all areas of computer networking, including LAN/WAN installation, network architecture and design as well as sales and marketing. Ukeju has successfully worked with and developed relationships with corporate CEOs and CFOs of Fortune 1000 companies.  He is experienced in general business and technology management.

Wale Adetomiwa, Senior Vice President, COO

Mr. Adetomiwa serves as the chief operating officer for Detek.  He specialized in strategies and management for high technology and consumer product clients. He has a broad base of general management experience.  In addition to his role in managing the details of Detek’s projects, he also oversees the areas of employee staffing and training as well as corporate policy formulation and review.

Mr. Adetomiwa began in the IT industry as a network and system integrator with Compaq Computer Corporation before joining Isaac Ukeju to form Detek. He is a member of board of directors of AIRR (Africa International Refugee Relief) a non-profit organization.

David P. Sims, Chief Infrastructure Architect

Mr. Sims is a proven, self-directed leader with an impressive track record of completing large-scale projects.  During his tenure at the Schlumberger Corporation, he supervised the design and implementation of one of the world’s first truly global corporate networks.  He exhibits great people skills (particularly with technical people).

Mr. Sims’ experience demonstrates a blend of technical expertise and management acumen.  On the technical side, he is at home with a variety of networks and computing systems.  These include:

·         Unix - Solaris, Linux, HPUX, DEC/VMS, MS Windows, MacOS.

·         Oracle, FilemakerPro, MySQL Databases

·         Programming Languages - Shell, Perl, C, C++, HTML, and CGI.

·         Telecom - CSU/DSUs, TDM Multiplexers, VSAT (Hughes PES), modems, spread spectrum radio modems, etc.

·         Transport Layer - Switches, Routers, Firewalls, etc.

·         Security - Firewalls, VPN, PKI, policy formation, risk analysis, etc. CISSP in progress

Shrinivas Sonti, Oracle Database Designer

Mr. Sonti has a decade of systems development experience, consisting of database administration, project management, business analysis and user requirements definition.  His expertise includes data modeling and analysis, star schema database design, architectural design and implementation of decision support systems and management reporting applications.

Mr. Sonti has designed applications that transform data from transaction systems into a consolidated data warehouse and provide users with business information through desktop reporting tools.  He has developed and implemented projects at many Fortune 500 companies.

Brett Regan Young, Director, Security and Business Continuity Services

Brett’s background includes several years as an independent consultant in the Information Security and Business Continuity arenas, primarily for Houston-area companies.  Prior to his work as a consultant, he managed the international network of a major oil and gas firm.  Brett has also held various positions in the natural gas production, control and processing environment.  He maintains CISSP, CBCP, MCSE and CNE certifications.

Brett has project management experience in the petroleum, banking and insurance industries.  He is a frequent contributor to several trade magazines as well as Texas newspapers on the subjects of risk management, security architecture, business continuity planning and recovery.

Among Brett’s characteristics is the ability to build consensus among the various stakeholders of a project.  He takes a holistic view of information security, bringing the clarity to complex situations.  Brett works well with clients, maintaining a strong focus on developing value for the client, constantly looking for ways to enhance the client’s network through innovative uses of technology.

Mohammed Sadik, Web Development and Business Consultant

Mr. Sadik has several years’ experience as an Application Developer, Network Analyst and PC technician.  During his career, he has designed and built server systems and microcomputers, managed helpdesk services and resolved system conflicts.  Mr. Sadik has proven himself in the areas of: systems data recovery, call-in software support, and programming in HTML and Visual Basic.  He is an accomplished systems troubleshooter, and has assisted Detek’s clientele in the evaluation of new hardware/software technologies.

Mr. Sadik holds a Master of Sciences degree from the University of Houston in Information Systems Technology/ Occupational Technology

David Mellor, Project Management

Mr. Mellor has more than 10 years experience in the information technology industry including the last 4 years in high-end IT consulting services.  He has a consistent history of successful delivery of technical consulting services including LAN/WAN, Network Security, Systems Integration, and Desktop Implementation, resulting in a broad knowledge base of consulting services, methodology development and execution, and full life cycle experience in IT and Systems Integration.  He differentiates with a strong technical base, ability to bridge the disparity between executives and engineers, and insuring strategic business goals drive the technology, enabling him to manage high quality delivery of services.
